| Bousquet is not really a piece of furniture, it is an art object - a sculpture that symbolizes a family. The big trunk is Jérôme, the trunk slightly smaller is Antje and the thin one represents their daughter. Jérôme and Antje are glued together with a special glue, developed by the NASA, which holds for at least 50 years. Because of that their relation cannot break. Lina, their daughter, is not glued. One day she will fly away, so I attached her to her parents with two iron bars. The wood I used is oak. The finishing is a paint based on lime that does not protect the wood against storms, thunder and sun. No, slowly the wood will deteriorate, it will start to age, just like Jérôme and Antje.
