| Just after the Promenade du Tivoli in Limoux there is a shop where you can buy all kinds of things for the sick and disabled. In the window I noticed a commode, that ugly sort of toilet chair which is such an embarrassment for the sick.
I felt I had to react, so I designed the ‘Tivoli’. This beauty replaces the ugly commode. However, on testing the ‘Tivoli’ I found that the hole was too small, the wood too difficult to clean and the distance from the seat to the bucket beneath too far. That is why the ‘Tivoli’ is now in my shop window.
