| “Artistes à suivre” is the name of one of the most important art exhibitions in the Aude department. It has taken place every year since 2003 in the villages around Couiza and Quillan. This year, over a period of four days, you can see the work of more than 40 different artists. The quality is high, the ambiance is wonderful and the organisation is perfect. Every year the shows are different, and each year seems better than the last. I wanted to celebrate this rise in standards in a visible and tangible way, so I have made a series, or a combination of, eight benches. Every bench is different in that each bench is literally higher than the one before it!
