| A major problem? Yes, this can definitely be a major problem, and one that can even destroy a marriage! When I saw this happening to some friends last year back in The Netherlands I decided I had to find an efficient and effective solution to this problem. The single question: “Which DVD shall we watch tonight?” can lead to a series of nasty and destructive discussions within a couple. My solution is an ingenious piece of storage furniture that takes the problem of choosing which DVD to watch out of both partners’ hands. I’ve called it NoChoice! Furthermore, the used algorithm makes sure that every single DVD in a collection will, at some point, be viewed. Have a look at the pictures to see how it works. If you want to watch a DVD, simply take the one NoChoice has selected for you; then when you’ve watched it just feed it back into NoChoice at the top. Truth needs no colours.
