Furniture description
| I am exhibiting my work in Pomy. Pomy? Where is Pomy? Pomy is a village in the department of the Aude with about fifty inhabitants. That may not seem particularly impressive, but the true value of Pomy is not expressed by the number of its inhabitants. No, rather it is shown in the energy of its mayor, Jean Baudeuf, who demonstrates very clearly how big a small village can be. That means I must be prepared for hundreds, maybe thousands, of people who will arrive at the exhibition in Pomy, look at my furniture and ask for my business card! How can I manage that? The answer lies in this piece of furniture which I have named Pomy and which is made out of a section of an old cherry tree. The holes in it clearly show the numerous attacks by all kinds of little wood-eating beasts, but that does not mean it is useless. No, in fact, this piece of furniture has inspired me to start on a new career as furniture designer and maker. The little table is also helping me to distribute my business cards very efficiently!
